Well not the ‘Mac n cheese’ literally but THE Mac and the ‘say cheese’ smiles thereafter 😉 🙂 Yes friends this is to share with u that we recently got ourselves a Mac..the Apple Mac !! And let me tell u it’s super-awesome !! Now having said that let me also share with u that this is the most expensive thing we have ever bought ourselves yet.And hence that sparked a tirade of memories of the times when things were not that easy.As u all know we got married at an early age of 25 while i was still studying and he was pretty fresh in his job.Our first home was in Pune.We love that place and the home we both had so lovingly passionately decorated with our love cards and first gifts 🙂 🙂 Our furniture consisted of a tv,fridge,a wardrobe n basic utensils. We hadn’t even had our bed transported from home because that would take a substantial part of the salary then. And actually we were quite happy cozying up on a single mattress on the chilly nights of Pune 😉 There were times when we avoided going/dining out to save for the month. We used to eagerly wait n head off for every good or bad movie scheduled at the weekend morning shows because they were the cheapest at Rs.70 🙂 We used to enjoy our evening strolls at FC road eating masala corn n ice-creams..I remember once during such a ‘ice-cream’ treat there was this offer of buy one get one free and we were super-excited about it and as we stepped out both of us wondered that we could actually only eat one [as we always do as too much cold affects our health] and just then we passed a bunch of small kids by the side of the road counting their day’s earnings as one of them was still out on the road selling colorful balloons.Instantly we both smiled and handed over one of the ice-creams to the kids 🙂 Their happiness didn’t actually show but ours sure did 🙂 🙂
It’s just that money does matter but not as much to affect love..hai na 🙂 🙂 Even in those days when the bank balance stooped down every month end..when we had loans and credits to clear..we still managed..actually even the small adjustments here and there didn’t actually matter that much because somewhere deep within we always believe that “Together we can..and together we will” 🙂 🙂
And also our roots have always held us strong against every odd and by our roots we mean our parents, our loving family and darling friends..their love and support has always been immense..anytime..eachtime..and all this with His kind blessings.
And now that we have a Mac and we are loving it 😉 I asked hubby “so now what should we do with the previous lappy” and he was quick to reply “it’s ours to keep forever”..to keep us aware of the days gone by..to keep those lovely memories awake and smiling..
[When hubby had had to come to Tokyo for the first time and that too for whole 3 months..this second-hand bought Dell laptop had kept us going strong through those difference of time and space healing soaked hearts and reveling in our mushy murmurs and hushed “i love uu”s 😉 😀 ]
