Sizzling Brownie #39: On Turning 30 !

Well yeah officially am now into the 4th decade of my life…last month the 3 -day celebrations of our anniversary (here, here and here) nicely blended in to my birthday, the next day. I had had my anxious moments about turning 30…a lot many of them. Every small thing and the number popped up…any planning and the number popped up…he he. It was like the crazy days approaching the board exams and then when the exams actually start..the feeling simply sets in. No fuss no big deal 😉

Usually since it’s just the 2 of us here, we get only one cake for our anniversary and birthday too but this time hubby had actually custom-ordered a special Snoopy cake for my birthday !!! That too ice-cream one !!! And when i saw it…oh it was just too cute and am so much like that Snoopy lazing away the day enjoying the summer sun 😉 And it had my favorite balloons too ! And just to make it a bit more special when it came to the candles, he actually put just one there. That was just such a sweet simple gesture to tell me ‘you will never grow old for me’ 🙂 🙂

Isn’t that cute ?? We had skyped back home as i cut the cake and yeah there was this special decoration too, all done by hubby 🙂 🙂

That midnight till the next, he kept showering his many gifts on me in every hour or two…ha ha it was just so much fun !!! First he gave me this cute little diary and this pair of awesome dazzling earrings !!!

The next morning started with a beautiful musical card and his message read ‘Something musical to start the day with’ 🙂 🙂 It played the Happy Birthday tune as i opened it and then one could press the keys to play your own song..lovely na !!!

Then the day went on with more cards, lovely fresh lily and rose deo, another pair of  lovely earrings, Adidas essentials, a cute pair of special slippers which are half way my feet so that it’s kind of  pressing at the right point while walking, to make it all the more relaxing!

Then we wrapped up the day with a special late-night romantic dinner at a favorite restaurant !! Before that I had actually fallen asleep by his side in the evening and later i came to know he had actually jotted down something very sweet in the meantime !!! And once again he had made it all so very special !!! I love UU Jaan !!!
