Sizzling Brownie#76: We go on and on…

That’s what i have been feeling all these days…i have come back to my page time and again… staring at the blank page…at my lovely ‘my dear u’ and unable to pen down the emotions at all…anyone happened to visit this page in between must have seen the weird and regular changes in the theme at least…hehe…thought that wd inspire…but na…sometimes life is just too sublime…beautiful or hard either ways…its just too sublime and ethereal…that fills u up…ur soul…each bit of ur hair follicles…so much that you are it ! you are the life you are living ! and you got to make the most of it ! learn to swim…and then enjoy the swim…. 🙂 🙂

Sizzling Brownie#75: We’re back !

Just finished a board of Scrabble with hubby and it just felt like we’re back ! Back being just the way we are…just being ‘us’.

And this little act too took us so many months, more than a year, just to sit and do something together without any requisites. Last year has been just so challenging, it’s like we have dived into a new phase of life altogether, there has been continuous challenges one after the other, so many struggles, it’s like we have been up and awake 24*7 everyday. Things now are also busy but we understand this is just a phase…and we will see through this too step by step hand in hand…

Well i don’t know how this post gonna be and actually i can’t care less… but i need to write…because that’s the only thing on my mind since yesterday…no matter what i have been doing am stuck at that moment…am in such a daze….am in such awe…am in love all over again…. 

Sizzling Brownie #38: Satyavan Savitri

I always had had my share of confusions and rebellions when it comes to social rituals and fasting etc. Still somehow i had been able to ‘manage’ quite a few, some which i find are harmless to my understanding and opinions and some which i really enjoy. After marriage, there are 2 days a year that i keep a fast, one on Gauri Purnima and the other on Savitri (Satyavan Savitri). On both these days married women keep fast for the long-life of their husbands. Though actually it is just one such day every year for any of the Hindu cultures but since we are ‘hybrid’ i decided to observe both. 🙂 🙂

Hey friends,thank u all so much for your lovely wishes and so much love as always.Am sorry we couldn’t get back to you earlier.Our anniversary and my birthday went pretty well and we would soon be sharing all the details with you all.Just that right now things are not that well back home.These few days have been tough and yesterday was the worst..i just hope that it was the peak yesterday and now from today onwards things can just slide back gradually to normal.Sometimes it gets just so tough and well it isn’t really easy to make lemonade when life throws lemons at us.But as my dad said yesterday, when there is a sudden inflow of heavy current two things can happen…either the fuse melts or the fans and lights get faster and brighter.And currently we all are trying to harness this unfortunate and tough development to the best we can.Hope everything falls into the right place soon.

love note #28: The pre-engagement date…

Well yea that’s the news ! The date had been set…2 days later we would be officially engaged..from just classmates to good friends to the best of friends and now in just 2 days we would graduate from bf-gf to a couple ( officially 😉 ) !! Today is sunday and i somehow managed to sneak out of my house to meet him.He reached Cuttack yesterday night and had stayed at his sister’s place.He had not been able to go home yet because of the flooding in some parts of our town but still he wanted to meet me first.So we decided to meet at CCD at Bhubaneswar.I had reached first and had only waited a few mins when he walked in,tall,lean and handsome in his white tee and denims.Oh my my what a choice i have made i blushed to myself 😉 He is just so handsome !! 

love note #23: My first visit Home..

That summer night we had a heated discussion…which was quite unnerving and taxing on us both…we were on the phone till day-break.After about a few hrs,we talked again…unable to sleep…and restless…But suddenly he hung up.I got infuriated and tried his phone.He didn’t answer.I tried again..and again…but each call was going unanswered.I knew he could never do that.No matter what he never stops talking to me.I got worried.Kept trying his phone again and again..but still no answer.I was losing my mind and wasn’t able to know how to reach him.Just needed to hear his voice.I was waiting and crying and praying and kept trying his phone.Then after about an hr and half..he received and said.. “I’m at the hospital and would call once home” and hung up.I was shocked..and baffled.What…Why???I was now feeling bad and guilty for last night.All i wanted was to have him back with me…safe and smiling.And all i could do then was to wait.I knew he would call.I knew he would.
